Classes provide our young performers a platform where they can explore and communicate creative ideas, thoughts and feelings in a wide range of dramatic languages.<\/div>\n

Our young performers are introduced to numerous acting techniques in order to create believable performances and interpretation.<\/div>\n

Skill Set includes: Sight reading, Verse & Prose, Staging, Improvisation, Vocal Exercises, Posture & Relaxation, Character Development, Theatre Terminology, Mask Work, Creative Movement, Theatre Practitioners (Stanislavsky, Brecht), Shakespeare, Monologues, Duologues, Scene Work, History of Literature and Theatre.<\/div>\n

Students will work towards the Optional LAMDA Solo Acting Examinations or Bronze, Silver & Gold Examinations with accredited certification based upon individual ability.<\/div>\n

    My 15 year old daughter Aliya has been attending drama classes with Helena for two-three years now and waits every September for them to resume. She finishes her work in time on days she has a class so she is not late.     The classes at Centre Stage Speech & Drama are fantastic, my son spends the whole week looking forward to them. He absolutely loves the stage and has become more articulate and expressive since he attends. They are fun and active and the children learn whilst engaged in imaginative and creative play.
